I found an article in the New York Times that talked about immigrants. Thousands of people gather around in more than a dozen cities. The rallies that are happening on Thursday are taking place in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. They want changes in immigration laws. Many people are part of this rally because they want to “support immigration reform, and to support care for all illegal immigrants.” Many people are not even going to work to support the rally. Many are afraid because they think that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement division of the Department of Homeland Security (I.C.E.) will arrest them. I think that there should change the immigration laws. Last year there were abuses made by the police and they hope that doesn’t happen this year. There have been many abuses made to illegal immigrants and I think that there should be a reform for the immigrants. Many students support this by not going school or just getting out. Hopefully there is a change that will be good for everyone that is an illegal immigrant in the country.

On thursday was one of the days that had many people gather for immigration issues. People still hope to have changes in the immigration laws so that all immigrants can work peacefully without to worry about the (I.C.E) coming to get them. Many of these people are abused, it is not necessary to make these kind of actions. Many of us the students miss school to support the people.
Immigration laws is an issue that needs to be resolved now!!!! People bring change to this country but their freedom is being denied and also they are being stopped from doing their regular activities day by day. I.C.E. is always looking for anyone and that is not right at all. I think that they shouldn't even do all of this at all. People come here to improve their economic life and to even help support their families at their countries. It is really good that students go out and actually support this issue. =]
